We would like to announce that a number of internal changes have been made at Aintree Plastics recently, and we have created several new roles to help grow our business and embrace the opportunities that lie ahead.
These changes come after the recent departure of several colleagues, including Steve Baylis, one of the founders of Aintree Plastics. We hope you will join us in wishing all of the leavers the best wishes for the future.
As Works Director, Steve had various responsibilities and direct reports, and other members of the Leadership Team will now assume these responsibilities. We have taken this opportunity to review the whole structure, and we will be making several changes:
- Scott Griffin (Operations Manager) will assume responsibility for all production, warehouse, and maintenance.
- Ethan Aaron (Compliance Manager) will report directly to Scott Griffin, and Ethan will assume responsibility for recycling.
- Paul White will also report directly to Scott Griffin, and the warehouse operators will move to a 7-day working pattern.
“We are making these changes and creating these new roles to help the business continue to grow and prosper in the coming years in an increasingly competitive market. Please join me in wishing our colleagues’ success in their roles.”
David Millar, Managing Director
Aintree Plastics
Shift Managers
Another significant change is the introduction of the Shift Managers, which are roles we advertised for recently, who will play a vital role in supporting our business in achieving operational excellence. The Shift Managers will report directly to Scott Griffin, and they will have responsibility for the site and employees working outside office hours.
Accounts Assistant
A new position of Accounts Assistant will also be introduced. This role will be essential to creating capacity within the sales office team to cover the ever-increasing work demands and sales growth. There will be changes to the responsibilities of the office management and administration team as finance responsibilities are transferred to the Accounts Assistant.
We have yet to advertise for the position of Accounts Assistant yet, but if you are interested in applying, please email your CV and a covering letter to David Millar at DMillar@aintreeplastics.co.uk. Please state in the subject the name of the position that you are applying for, and please highlight any relevant skills or experience you may have, and why you are interested in this position.
Future Growth
We are excited about the opportunities ahead and growing our business, and look forward to continuing to serve our customers with the same high level of service that they have come to expect.
Further announcements will be made as the new positions are filled.
